Giving Thanks
Hi all!
It is that time to give thanks. This year I am thankful for my closest friends (as I always am) first and foremost. But additionally this year I am thankful for finally having a permanent job which I enjoy and find rewarding and challenging.
I am also looking forward to my trips back to NY next week and then again for Christmas!! It has been far too long!!
Thanksgiving was enjoyable this year. Went to Alvin's and had a wonderful dinner. Thank you for your hospitality :-)
Today did a little bit of Christmas shopping. I was actually amazed that it wasn't nearly as packed or crazy as I thought it would be. Not sure if that is a good thing or not.
As you may be able to tell from this post, I am feeling a little bit scattered and unfocused. Errrrr...

Slowly but surely
Well, I am gradually moving in the right direction. I have finally become permanent at work which is a majour step forward :-)
Of course, there are always minour setbacks as well. Halloween was not a good night as there was a bit of vandalism done to the house.
It also seems as if there are "technology spirits" in my house causing some really weird issues with the computers. Just odd annoyances.....
I have been able to book two trips to NY for the upcoming several weeks, so I am looking forward to that!!! It has been far too long since I have been home.
