Time flies
I hadn't realized just how long it had been since I last wrote anything here.
Well, I just finished the two weeks of training for the new job, so tomorrow the real deal truly begins. To say I am feeling a bit of information overload would be an understatement, but I think I will adapt quickly.
On an unrelated note, it is less than a week before the family comes out to Chicago to visit me. This will be the first time in the 6 1/2 years I have lived here that they visited. I already asked for them to bring me some items one can only seem to find in NY, or to say the least, cannot find in the Midwest.
Other than the training, not much has really been going on in my life as of late.
